*District administration reaches out to various labourers/residents of Doda district stranded at different locations in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan,Jammu, Uttrakhand and West Bengal*

DODA,April 19:

Today, total 123 stranded Labourers/residents of District Doda approached to the Control Room established at Rose garden resort Teligarh Bhaderwah by District Administration Doda on the directions of DDC Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode (IAS) under the supervision of Dr Rajinder Khajuria KAS CEO(BDA).

 

Accordingly, the concerned authorities of different States were approached and the request was made to ensure the provision of food/ration to the stranded labourers so that they obey the lockdown protocol.

The detail of Labourers stranded at various locations within and outside the UT OF J&K is as under:

 

1.Two students stranded at District Jaipur sector 26 Pratap Nagar plot No. 266/115, the matter taken up with Control room and to ensure ration as well as medicine to the students.

 

2.Ten labourers stranded at District Pithoragarh Tehsil Dharchilla, matter was taken with the administration to shift the labourers to suitable new location .

 

3.Five person’s stranded at Jammu Malik market,the matter was taken with concerned Tehsildar to ensure provision of ration.

 

Moreover 106 representations were received by the Designated control room from the stranded labourers/person’s, today inorder to issue movement permissions which were outrightly refused by the Nodal officer due to the ongoing lock down restrictions amid Coronavirus threat, also because the decision for their movement has to be taken by the apex level authorities.

 

It is pertinent to mention that till date 4101 people/ stranded labourers approached for provision of the ration and other basic facilities and grievances were resolved in toto by the district administration through control room established at rose garden resort teligarh in coordination with respective authorities of different states /tehsils and/ panchayats.

 

 

Further District Administration appeals all the stranded person’s of district Doda to remain indoor during the lock down period, and may contact the office of Nodal Officer for any help with regard to requirement of basic amenities like food/ration.Please note,no request for travel to or from Doda shall be entertained.All persons stranded at various places are requested to remain at same place.
