*Comprehensive District Capex Plan for the year 2020-21 finalised for Doda District* _Special focus has been laid on improving the Infrastructure of health department,education sector and Beautification of the town_(DDC)

Doda,April 24:

District Development Commissioner,Dr Sagar D Doifode today finalised the Capex budget plan of the district for the financial year 2020-21 amounting to Rs 236.39 Cr today.

 

While finalising the capital expenditure plan for the district,DDC Informed that District Administration has laid special focus on improving the health infrastructure of the district especially for the peripheral areas of the district like Gandoh,Thathri and Bhaderwah.

 

Moreover DDC Informed that for the first time major portion of the plan of health sector has been proposed for purchasing of new machinery and equipments like ventilators and digital X-ray machine.

 

DDC also Informed that another sector for which the special focus has been given by the District Administration is the education sector where significant portion of the funds has been diverted from construction side to the improvement in the existing infrastructure like providing of desks,black board’s, development of kitchen gardens in the schools and strengthening of other teaching learning material etc.

 

“District Administration has also allocated equitable distribution of funds to the all the areas of the district so that development of all areas can be ensured” he added, besides said that main thirst has been given to the completion of ongoing schemes in all the department’s rather undertaking of the new work’s.
