*19 COVID-19 Patients Recovered in Doda, Discharged from GMC Doda and other designated Isolation Centre of GMC Doda*

In a major breakthrough amid COVID-19 Scare, authorities in Doda have discharged 19 more COVID-19 patients, who were found positive in the district, have been discharged from Govt Medical College Doda and other designated Isolation Centre of GMC Doda after all of them have recovered from the disease.
So far 21 Covid-19 patients have recovered among the 43 active such patients admitted in the hospital’s and at the designated isolation centre of GMC Doda.
The patients, hailing from different areas were kept under medical observation at GMC and Other designated isolation centre, and were discharged today after their tests were found negative for the virus repeatedly in accordance with set/protocol under COVID-19.
Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode congratulated the recovered patients and urged upon them to remain in home quarantine for some time as a precautionary measure.Masks, gloves and other gift items were also distributed among them.
“This disease can be defeated,if necessary measures and precautions are followed,” the DC added.
Meanwhile,DC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode also expressed satisfaction over the care being taken by the medical and quarantine staff of these patients.
He said that it is a moment of satisfaction to witness discharging of positive patients after their recovery from the novel coronavirus infection.
The others who were present during the occassion are Tehsildar Doda Shabir Ahmed Malik,MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir, Accounts Officer DRDA Sameer Ul Rehman, District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat Khan besides other officials of district administration.
