*Government Languishing scheme starts bearing fruits in Doda, Among 87 approved Projects,15 stands completed,65 are ongoing in full swing* _DDC said all these projects will change the developmental scenario of the district and their timely completion is the priority of the district administration_

With an aim to provide the impetus to the developmental pace of the district,the Languishing scheme of the Govt. is going to play a pivotal role and have already started bearing fuits in the district.
DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, informed that almost 87 Projects are approved under languishing by the Government of J&K UT worth of Rs 169 crores approximately, out of which 15 stands completed till now and 65 are targeted to complete this year on priority basis and rest are on tendering stage.
DDC Informed that among all these important projects, majority of the projects are lying with the department of PWD and PHE under which mainly construction of roads, bridge’s, blacktopping, upgradation of road, Water supply schemes etc are included.
While Stating the importance of these projects, DDC said that all these projects are general public oriented and will change the overall development scenario of the district in the upcoming days.
It has been informed by the DDC that all the executing agencies are already directed to complete the ongoing languishing Projects in their respective areas on priority basis,as the status of these projects are being keenly reviewed by the apex level authorities on daily basis.
Referring to the visit of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor UT of J&K Sh Girish Chandra Murmu to the district , DDC said that Hon’ble Lt Governor has also given the priority to the completion of these projects adding to this He has also said that these are vital from general public welfare point of view and their timely completion is the goal of UT Administration.
