*COVID-19: 08 more patients discharged from GMC including two pregnant women after full recovery in Doda,01 person reported Positive* _Tally of Active cases in the district reduces to 18, with 49 recovered patients till now_

Doda,June 22:

Eight persons from Doda district who had tested positive for COVID-19 were discharged from the GMC Doda today so far.

 

The patients, hailing from different areas were kept under medical observation at the GMC and were discharged today after their tests were found negative for the virus repeatedly.

 

In this regard,the tally of active cases in the district drastically reduces to 18, besides the graph of the recovered patients of Covid-19 has reached to 49 in the district as of now.

 

Moreover 01 case has been tested positive today which was already in administrative quarantine at Bhaderwah and has a travel history of Delhi.

 

It has been given out that the process of discharge was done in the presence of CM0 Doda Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah and MS AH GMC Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir and the person’s were directed to remain in home quarantine for some time as per the set SOP and also as a precautionary measure.

 

The District Administration and Health Department are working relentlessly in the District to contain the spread of COVID-19 under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode. District administration are also advising people to not panic and practice social distancing to curb and prevent the spread of Coronavirus, maintain basic precautions and strictly follow the advisories issued by the Government and District Administration Doda with utmost priority.
