_Day 3 Kissan Pakhwada_ *One day Kissan mela organised under “Kissan Pakhwada” at Bhella, Thathri* _During the last 3 days more than 300 KCC cards sanctioned and Distributed among the Beneficiaries_

As a part of the series of fortnight activities, a one day Kisan Mela under “Kisan Pakhwada” under the supervision of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, was organised today here at Bhella area of Thathri Sub division by Agriculture department in collaboration with Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and other allied departments.

 

The event was participated by more than 200 farmers of the Bhela and Thathri area, and was inaugurated by the Chief Agriculture Officer Doda Mr Shahid Iqbal Sheikh.

 

The farmers were given awareness about benefits of KCC and PM Kisan and the process for applying for the same, besides KCC cards were also distributed among the beneficiaries.

 

During the program all the intending departments installed their stalls at the venue and highlighted the various schemes which are being executed by them for the welfare of the farming community across the district, besides the officers of the different departments gave a detail overview of the different schemes and motivated the farmer’s to avail the benefits of KCC and PM KISAN.

 

Chief Agriculture Officer in presence of PRI members motivated the farmers for 100 per cent achievement of KCC during the fortnight campaign, besides asked the field functionaries of all the concerned departments to motivate the farmer’s to avail the KCC facility and to ensure cent percent saturation under the KCC scheme and PM kisan, besides asking them to carry out the door to door campaign in this regard so that the aim and objectives of this ongoing Kissan Pakhwada can be fulfilled in letter and spirit in the district.

 

The others who were present during the program are CAH0 Doda,Sheep Husbandry officer,CH0 Doda,AD Fisheries,Area Marketing Officer Doda,ASC0 Doda,SDA0 Thathri besides other field functionaries were present.
