*DDC calls for 100% saturation of Kisan Credit Cards in the district* _Impressed upon the concerned officers to put concerted efforts to make ongoing “Kissan Pakhwada” a great success by achieving 100 percent target of covering all the farmers under KCC scheme across the district_

Doda, July 17:

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today strictly directed for 100% saturation of Kisan Credit Cards in the district Doda.

 

The DDC stated this while chairing a meeting with the officer’s of Agriculture department and various banks, besides took stock of the total cases cleared by the Tehsils and Banks during the ongoing “Kissan Pakhwada” and the net pendency at the revenue as well as at the bank level.

 

The DDC was informed by the Chief Agriculture Officer that the total pendency as of now at Revenue level is 8538 and at different bank levels are 6540, for which the DDC directed them to expedite the process and also directed them to clear the pendency at all levels by the 20th of July 2020, without any fail to ensure 100% saturation under the KCC scheme across the district.

 

The DDC Informed them that “Kissan Pakhwada” is being conducted with the aim to achieve 100% coverage under KCC for which the field functionaries of Agriculture and allied sectors should work in coordination with each other, so that the aim and objectives of this event shall be ensured in letter and spirit.

 

He impressed upon the concerned officers to put concerted efforts to make this Kissan Pakhwada programme a great success by achieving 100 percent target of covering all the farmers under KCC scheme including those engaged in Dairy Farming, Fisheries, Poultry and Horticulture.

 

The others who were present during the meeting are Chief Agriculture Officer Shahid Iqbal Sheikh, Lead Bank Manager, besides representative’s of various banks also attended the meeting.
