*Market/Vehicle checking intensified at Bhatyas, Malikpura, Polie and Chilli Market* _Rs 5000 realised from violators for not wearing face masks_

Doda,July 18:

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Doda,Dr Sagar D Doifode and in the supervision of SDM Bhalessa Pritam Lal Thapa a team of officials including Nodal Officer COVID 19 Management Chilli Pingal Tasleem Javaid KAS Probationer, along with the Police officials conducted a market as well as checking of all the vehicles entering Bhatyas. 

 

The checking was conducted whether the people are following SOPs related to COVID 19. A fine of Rs 5000 were imposed on erring shopkeepers,Drivers, passengers for not wearing face masks at public places. Vehicles were also checked whether the drivers are picking a set number of passengers and duly following the guidelines issued by the District administration regarding the safety measures required to be taken care off. 

 

Furthermore, all the shopkeepers as well as drivers operating in the area were also warned of stringent legal action , if they were found violating the SOPs related to COVID 19 like social distancing, not wearing face masks and other mandatory directions issued by Distt Administration from time to time.

 

Pertinent to mention here that the DC Doda has directed the local administration’s to ensure that the people are wearing face masks and if anyone is seen violating the orders issued by the District Administration strict action against the erring individual/group shall be initiated without any delay. Further they are also informed to adhere the safety measures for their own safety so that the transmission of the deadly Coronavirus Infection can be curbed across the district.
