*DDC Doda toured Market area of the Doda main town* _Rs. 50,000 fine realized from the shopkeepers and person’s without face mask_

Doda, July 23:

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D Doifode holds extensive tour of the main town of Doda and imposed the penalties upon the erring shopkeepers and person’s in violation of the guidelines issued by the Government of J&K UT as well as by the District Administration with regard to the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

During the tour the DDC imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 upon the erring shopkeepers operating without the face masks besides upon the general public who have also come out of their houses without wearing of face mask.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that wearing of face mask by the general public has been made mandatory across the district by the District Administration and any individual found in violation of the order is being penalised as per the instructions of the UT administration.

 

The DC said that district administration is working day and night tirelessly for the safety of the general public of the district, besides seeks cooperation from the people so that the spread of deadly Coronavirus Infection can be controlled across the district in letter and spirit.

 

The DC has also informed that the officers are already designated upto the Block and Tehsil level to enforce the guidelines of the safety measures with regard to the Covid-19 pandemic and are also authorised to take strict actions to ensure the proper implementation of all the necessary guidelines to combat the spread of Coronavirus Infection across the district.

 

Others who accompanied the DDC during the tour are ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, SHO Doda Munir Ahmed besides other officials of the revenue and municipality departments.
