*Poshan Abhiyan: DDC Doda chaired the meet of District Convergence Committee to finalize the plan* _237 New Aganwadi Centres will be constructed in each Panchayat of the district_ DDC *Directs the Tehsildars to identify 5 marla land in each Panchayat of the district for the construction of New Anganwadi centres*

District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of all concerned officers here in the meeting hall of DC office and finalised the District Convergence plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.

 

The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, PO ICDS Doda, ACD Doda, CMO Doda,CEO Doda,Xen PHE Doda, besides by CDPO’s of all the blocks.

 

At the outset Program Officer ICDS Doda Shahida Parveen briefed the meeting about the different quarters that are important for the formulation of Convergence Plan under POSHAN ABHIYAN.

 

During the meeting DDC urged the heads of concerned departments to work  in a tandem and asked for pooling their efforts under a convergence plan so that an integrated approach could be carved out for  achieving the tangible results under the POSHAN ABHIYAN.

 

DDC directed the PO ICDS to sent the proposal for construction of 237 new Aganwadi Centres at each panchayat across the district to the ACD Doda, besides directed the Tehsildars to identify the land of 5 marlas in each panchayat of their respective jurisdictions for the construction of the same.

 

Moreover the DDC also directed to complete the activity within 7 days, besides asked to identify the land at accessible locations in the panchayats.

 

Regarding to provide the supply of water in all the Anganwadi centres viz already constructed,under construction and going to be start,the DDC directed the Xen Jal Shakti to cover all the centres under the Jal Jeevan Mission Plan on priority basis.

 

Furthermore, DDC directed the PO ICDS to revisit the list of vaccant school buildings in the planning department,so that they can be handover to them for the use  the functioning of Anganwadi centres.

 

The DDC directed the CMO Doda to formulate the yearly schedule of Asha and ANM workers to conduct the weekly medical examination of the children’s in all the Anganwadi centre’s, besides directed the CEO Doda to depute one Guardian teacher at each Anganwadi centre and to frame the role and responsibilities for the teacher who will visit the designated centre on weekly basis besides will take care of all the IEC activities at the centre without any fail.

 

DDC also directed the CDPO’s to prepare the growth chart for all the age groups and to expedite the activity in coordination with the health department, besides appointed the CDPO Thathri to prepare the list of necessary parameters on the basis of which the activity will be carried out and also directed the CDPO Thathri to submit the progress report in the DDC office within the 15 days without any fail.
