*DC inspected Containment Zone in Doda, reviewed the implementation of necessary SOP’s in containment zone* _Stressed to restrict the movement of the people,to properly seal all the entries in the containment zone_

Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode conducted extensive visit to the newly notified containment zone in Doda and took the first hand appraisal about the implementation of necessary SOP’s in the containment zone.
During the inspection,the DC visited all the entry points, besides also identified some entries in the zone which could be used by the people living in the containment zone to sneak out.
The DC directed the Police officials to seal all the possible entries in the containment zone, besides directed them to restrict every kind movement and said that only essential movements shall be permitted in the zone which shall be allowed by the district administration.
Meanwhile during the visit the DC also interacted with individual working in medical stores and enquired about the medicines mostly people are asking for now a days. The DC directed all the medical stores operational in and around the containment zone not to give any medicine specifically related to flu like symptoms without the prescription of doctors, besides directs them to ensure that the record is being maintained on daily basis.
The DC also directed the health department to appoint the Medical Officer’s as Nodal officer who shall visit all the medical stores and shall check the database on daily basis.
Moreover the DC appealed the people living in the containment zone to restrict their movement,not to have any kind of physical contact with anyone outside the containment zone, besides urged the people living outside these zone not to enter in the containment zone.
The DC strictly warned that any violation in this regard shall be seriously considered and the violator shall face strict legal course of action under rules.
The DC during the visit also realised the penalties from the person’s who were wandering outside without wearing face mask.
