*DDC inspects Covid control measures in containment zone Bhaderwah* _Stressed to go door to door of every household in the containment zone, ensure 100% testing of vulnerable people in first phase_

Doda, September 13:

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode,inspected the Covid control measures in newly notified containment zones of Bhaderwah and took the first hand appraisal about the implementation of necessary SOPs in the containment zones.

 

During the inspection, the DDC inspected the entry points, and asked to plug the possible exits that could be used by the people living in the containment zone to sneak out.

 

The DDC directed the Police officials to seal all the possible entries and restrict the movement. However, he has directed for smooth supply of essentials.

 

Regarding conduct of testing in the containment zones,the DDC directed to intensify the testing with immediate effect, besides directed the concerned to go door to door of every household and conduct the testing specifically of the person above the age of 60 with co- morbidities, pregnant ladies etc in first spell.

 

The DDC urged the people to extend full cooperation with the district administration and asked the people to voulantarily come forward and get themselves tested if suffering from flu like symptoms without any fail.

 

Moreover the DC appealed the people living in the containment zone to restrict their movement, not to have any kind of physical contact with anyone outside the containment zone. He also urged the outsiders not to enter into the containment zone areas.

 

The DDC strictly warned that any violation in this regard shall be seriously dealt and the violator shall face strict legal action under rules.
