*DDC holds interactive meet with Councillor’s and Civil Society member’s of Doda* _Urged them to conduct IEC activities in their respective areas against Covid-19 pandemic_ *Councillor’s, Civil Society member’s assured full support to District Administration Doda for effective implementation of SOP’s*

Doda, September 20:

District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today held a interactive meet with the Councillor’s and prominent members of the Civil Society Doda with regard to the mitigation efforts being carried out by the District Administration to prevent the spread of deadly Coronavirus Infection across the district.

 

Speaking on the occasion the DDC said that the district administration is leaving no stone unturned and is working day and night tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the general public across the district and are implementing all the safety measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus Infection in the district.

 

In this regard DDC highlighted some of the unique initiatives taken into account by the District Administration for the safety of the people which includes deployment of Oxygen Doot/Oxygen Messenger in the containment zones and distribution of free Medicine kits among the positive patients at their doorstep.

 

The DDC also demonstrated before the participants how to use the pulse oximeter and what medicines shall a positive patient to take if they’re having any flu like symptoms.

 

The DDC briefed them that if any person is having oxygen levels below 90,he/she has to go to the hospital immediately for the oxygen support.

 

The DDC said them to generate awareness among the general public to get themselves tested if they’re having any flu like symptoms as the district administration has already intensified aggressive testing in all the Containment zones.

 

The DDC urged them to conduct the IEC activities in their respective areas on priority basis,for which medicine kits and pulse oximeter will be made available to them to perform these activities.

 

The Councillor’s and Civil Society member’s assured every possible help to the district administration in the ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus and also appreciated the district administration for implementing unique initiatives for the well being of the general public of the district.

 

During the meet President MC Doda Ved Prakash Gupta alongwith Councillors,MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda Dr Yaqoob Mir, Tehsildar Headquarter Assistant Daljit Singh Parihar, besides other officials were also present.
