ADC Doda convened meeting of President and ward members of MC Doda ahead of “My Town my Pride” programme. An initiative to strengthen Urban Local Self-Governance.

Doda, October 17, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda Kishori Lal Sharma convened meeting of President and Ward members/ Counsellors of Municipal Counsel Doda in his office chamber at DC Office Doda.

 

 He also  reviewed the arrangements for smooth conduct of ‘My Town My Pride’ program being held to listen and address the issues of people in Urban areas.

 

President MC Doda, Sh. Vaid Parkash Gupta, CPO Doda Parshotam Kumar, ACR Doda Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani, DIO Doda Mohd Ashraf Wani, Executive Officer MC Doda Sanjay Kumar Sharma and ward members of MC Doda participated in the meeting.

 

The ADC informed that ‘My town My Pride’ main program shall be held at Boys HSS Doda on 19th and 20th October 2020.

 

The ADC requested President and ward members to work in tandem and coordination so that people of the town get benefitted of the new initiative of the Government, envisaged to provide better service delivery and governance at the doorsteps of the people living in towns.

 

He informed that  departments involved in public service delivery like issuance of domicile certificates, widow/disabled /old age pension, enrolment and up-dation of Aadhar and power supply, issuance of birth/ death certificate, sanction of loans to start-ups/ entrepreneurs by banks and others shall set up a dedicated stalls/Kiosk at the venue of the program.

 

The ADC also discussed and finalised  daily activity plan of visiting officer.
