*DDC laid foundation stone for construction of 15 Rain Shelter Sheds/View Points for the people of Doda* _15 Rain Shelter Sheds/View Points will be constructed at a estimated cost of 90 lacs in two month’s along the NH 244_

Doda, December 31:

In order to ensure the convenience to the travellers and to beautify the NH under jurisdiction of the Doda district,the DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today laid foundation stone for the construction of Rain Shelter Sheds/ View Points at Pul Doda.

 

Speaking on the occasion,the DDC said that it is moment of joy for the entire district and informed that a total of 15 Rain Shelter Sheds/View Points will be constructed in the time frame of two months,which will ensure the convenience to the travellers of the twin district’s i.e Doda and Kishtiwar.

 

Apart from this the locations which were identified along the NH have also a scenic importance and these shelters will be a main point of attraction for the tourists coming to the district also.

 

The DDC directed the executing agency i.e PWD R&B Division Doda to complete the construction of all the 15 shelter sheds under the fixed timeline, besides asked the contractor to apply artistic touch while constructing these sheds.

 

Among others present during the program are SE PWD Doda,GM DIC Doda,EX En PWD Doda,DIO Doda, besides AEE’s and JE’s were also present
