*DDC Doda takes stock of targets achieved under District Capex Budget* _Directs all to expedite the progress and achieved the targets under fixed timeline_

Doda,January 29:

District Development Commissioner (DDC)Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting of concerned officers to have a first-hand appraisal of works completed, expenditure incurred and targets achieved under different sectors and schemes, which were taken in hand by various departments and agencies under District Capex outlay for the year 2020-21.

 

During the meeting, CPO apprised the DDC that an amount of Rs 401 Cr have been approved under District Capex budget for District Doda under UT and Central components.Out of which an amount of Rs. 235.60 Crore has been made available for expenditure on the works, projects and other welfare schemes in the district through the departments of Education,Health,R&B, PHE, I&FC,ICDS, RDD,  and other departments .

 

Further it has been informed  that an amount of Rs. 222 crore has been expended till now on key sectors.

 

Taking strong note of the slow execution of works and expenditure by some departments under UT as well as in loan sector, the DDC directed the concerned to make all efforts and achieve the targets within the given timeframe.

 

The DDC also directed the engineering wings to submit the list of projects to their higher up’s so that Technical Sanction shall get accorded against the approved works at earliest, besides asked the SE’s to provide the sanctions against the work’s within their competence with immediate effect.

 

He urged that  expedite work on all incomplete projects currently under execution across the district should be completed before the expiry of current financial year, so that available funds shall be utilised in appropriate manner.

 

The meeting was also attended by SE PWD, Hydraulic,CPO, ACD,CMO,CEO, Executive Engineers PWD Doda,Gandoh and Bhaderwah,DYSSO Doda and other concerned.
