DODA, February 19: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode today reviewed the progress on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road projects of the District, here in his office Chamber at DC Office Doda.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning (CPO) Parshotam Kumar, SE PMGSY Batote RK Gupta, Executive Engineer PMGSY Doda and Thathri, DIO Doda and AEEs of PMGSY Doda and Thathri,
The District Development Commissioner Doda expressed satisfaction over completion of timely work and achievement of targets in the District during last season/ financial year.
It was further informed that in the District more than 380 km of roads have been black topped, more than 470 km of roads have been metalled, more than 570 Kms of roads have been shingled and about 700 km of roads have been constructed up to fair weather status till date.
DDC directed the officers to strictly adhere to the specifications and complete the ongoing roads within stipulated time frame.
While taking a detailed review of the scheme wise progress and completion of schemes, the DDC directed the officers to review the pending projects for want of any clearance and get the issues resorted so to complete these projects at the earliest.
DDC further directed the PMGSY authorities to coordinate with concerned authorities and settle all the pending land acquisition cases, forest clearances for early completion of PMGSY roads.
