*DDC reviews functioning of RDD sector at Doda* _More than 33 lac PD’s generated, around 14000 works to be completed by the end of March_

DODA, FEBRUARY 23: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today convened a meeting to review the functioning of Rural Development Department, progress made under various flagship schemes including PMAY, MGNREGA,CD& Panchayat,RGSA, besides status of Adhaar seeding and Adhaar based payment were also discussed in the meeting.
Assistant Commissioner Development Prem Singh Chib, briefed the meeting regarding the physical and financial achievements made under different schemes including PMAY, MGNREGA, adding to this the progress of timely payments as per T+8 module, Geo tagging, regeneration of pending transactions, uploading of material bills etc were also reviewed.
The DDC expressed satisfaction with the progress made under PD generation i.e more than 33 lacs upto January, besides DDC informed the BDOs that the district is eyeing 50 lac PD generation by the end of the current financial year and directed them to expedite the progress to achieve the target on priority basis.
Regarding timely payment status the DDC said that though the improvement has been shown and reached to 34.41%, but it shall be expedited by coordinating with PRI members so that the timely payments can be ensured as per the T+8 module.
The DDC also directed the concerned to complete the works of pending for completion with immediate effect by the end of March, besides directed to geo-tag the pending works of phase I and II on priority basis in upcoming days.
Regarding Adhaar seeding the ACD apprised the DDC that the department has shown better performance and reached to 86%, besides 48% payments are been done through adhaar based.
The DDC directed the ADC to call the concerned agency, so that 100% adhaar seeding shall be ensured across the district by evaluating the area wise schedule, besides also directed to push the linking of Adhaar progress of other service delivery sector’s such as social welfare,food department etc.
Regarding PMAY it has been informed that 12166 cases have been registered out of which 12120 cases have been sanctioned with verified accounts and till now 4252 houses have been completed.
Under RGSA scheme 10 panchayat ghars have been sanctioned out of which 9 are ongoing and 3 are targeted for completion this year and for 1 as soon as the funds shall be available the tendering process shall be expedited with immediate effect.
The DDC set the timelines for completion of all pending works. The directions were also passed to expedite the pace of developmental works.
During the meeting, the DDC impressed upon BDOs and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas by adopting greater coordination with the PRIs and field functionaries for effective implementation of schemes at the ground level.
The meeting was attended by JD-Planning Parshotam Kumar,DPO Doda Mohd Idrees Lone, Ex. Engineer REW Aftab Ahmed, Block Development Officers and other concerned.
