*DC Doda reviews progress of works under Back to Village program* _Directs REW to expedite the estimation of all works projected under B2V-3 for e tendering_

Doda,March 24:

The Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of concerned Officers to review the progress of works identified under B2V program in the mini meeting hall of DC office Doda.

 

During the meeting the DC took first hand appraisal regarding identification of works, physical status of approved works, funds released, expenditure incurred against the works approved under edition first etc.

 

The DC directed all the concerned to submit the status of works approved under B2V, funds released, and how many are completed physically and financially, besides directed the Ex En PHE Doda to submit the factual report, reasons of delay against the approved works regarding estimation and tendering process.

 

The DC also asked the Ex En irrigation department to submit the list of non functional Khuls to the rural development department so that they shall be taken up under MGNREGA during the upcoming financial year plan of 2021-22.

 

While reviewing the B2V-3, it has been informed to the DC that 786 works have been identified by the Gram sabhas against which 10 lac have been sanctioned and transferred in the accounts of each panchayats directly and out of those 10 lac, sports kits at an estimated cost of 20 thousand have already been distributed in each panchayat.

 

Further the DC has been informed that the works identified by the panchayats shall be taken only after tendering process which is being going on.

 

The DC expressed concern over the slow progress of estimation against the B2V-3 works, directed the Ex En REW to expedite the progress of estimation and  complete all the estimates in next 5 days, so that e tendering shall be  expedited simultaneously.

 

The DC asked the  Ex En REW to submit the list of estimation done by JE/TA block wise, besides asked the ACD to monitor the progress on daily basis on priority.

 

The DC asked the concerned to be well versed with the functioning of their respective departments so that targets shall be achieved under stipulated time frame, besides asked to maintain coordination with the field level functionaries for the smooth running of the departments.

 

Among others present during the meeting are CPO Doda, ACD Doda, SE Hydraulics, ACR Doda, Ex En PHE, JPDCL, REW besides other concerned officials.
