Commissioner Survey Land Records Reviews Revenue Matters at Bhaderwah

With an aim to take the appraisal of the functioning of Revenue department, Commissioner Survey and Land Records, J&K, Syed Shawnawaz Bukhari chaired a meeting, here today at Dak Bungalow Bhadarwah.
The meeting reviewed various revenue matters and other issues pertaining to revenue department, besides reviewing progress registered under digitization of land records, which is being carried out under Digital India Land Records Modernization programme (DLRMP).
Meeting was attended by ADC Bhadarwah Rakesh Kumar, Tehsildar Bhadarwah Zeeshan Tahir, Tehsildar Bhalla and other concerned officials.
Commissioner Survey and Land Records called for accelerating the pace of digitization to realize the objectives of modernizing management of land records. He urged concerned to put into extra efforts to complete the process of digitization to meet the timeline for its early completion for better public service delivery. The concerned patwaris were directed to ensure the completion of digitization process of their respective halqas with in a limited time frame. He asked them to put forth the problems they are facing in streamlining the revenue records.
It was informed that government has hired the services of private firm RAM TECH Software India for scanning and computerization of various old revenue records besides settlement operations.
Meanwhile, the Tehsildar and other officials of the department assured that they will work with zeal and enthusiasm , and grievances of the public will be redressed on priority.
