*MC Doda conducted anti encroachment drive in and around Bus stand Doda* _The drive aims at to address traffic congestion,shall be continued at regular intervals till the issue is not resolved propely_

Doda,April 22:

Acting upon the directions of DDC Doda Vikas Sharma,the Municipal Council Doda conducted anti encroachment drive in and around Bus stand and other parts of market area of Doda town in order to streamline the traffic congestion caused by the rehris, material placed at footpaths as well as by the wrong parking of the vehicles including private as well as public transport.

 

The MC President Doda alongwith EO MC Doda and Police department today took out the drive and seized down rehris operational illegaly in and around bus stand, besides lift all the load carriers from the bus stand which have been parked at other identified places, besides MVD and traffic department have laid penalties upon all the violators for parking their vehicles in no parking places.

 

It has been given out by the officials that traffic congestion is one of the serious issue which is causing great inconvenience to the locals,and thus these drives shall continue on regular basis till the issue is not resolved permanently.
