*CAHO Doda holds interactive meet of all Veterinary Asstt. Surgeon,directs to implement all flagship National programs on mission mode* _Stresses to install complaint box in their field offices,asks to generate mass awareness about Covid vaccination_

Doda, June 30:- A meeting of all the Veterinary Assistant Surgeons of the District was held today under the chairmanship of Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Doda.
A full deliberation was made by the CAHO Doda with respect to
COVID-19 protocol and awareness to the general public in the respective jurisdictions of VAS’s to follow protocol and aware the public regarding the importance of getting vaccinated to curtail the spread of the COVID-19.
The Officers were directed to have regural interaction with the PRI’s of their areas with regards to the planning and implementation of the various flagship programmes of Govt. of India.
Further the Officers were directed to have complaint/suggestion boxes installed at all LDO and VAS centers in addition to this the Officers were directed to ensure the cleanliness of their centers, as well as the subordinate centers.
They were also apprised of the importance of the biosecurity measures at farmer’s premises to have hygienic milk production and to reduce the incidence of spread of zoonotic Disease.
Full deliberation was also made on the various aspects of the SPCA act .The chair directed the Vets. to respond to any cruelty against animals and to be proactive in its implementation. PRI’s shall also be taken into confidence and made part of this compaign.
With regard to flagship programmes of Govt. of India which includes NAIP ( National Artificial Insemination Programme), NAD-CP( National Animal Disease Control Programme) and NLM ( Natioanl Livestock Mission), Integrated Dairy Development (IDDP) Scheme, Integrated Poultry Development Programme (IPDP), Cattle Feed Processing unit. All such programmes are time bound and simultaneous uploading on INAPH. Strict Instructions were passed to reduce the gap between work-done and its uploading on INAPH before 10th July.100% targets were to be achieved in a time bound manner, CAHO added.
To make society corruption free , the officers were impressed upon to have zero tolerance towards the corruption and malpractices all any level in the department.
Downloading of e- Gopalla App. and registration of both Livestock buyers and sellers on it were also discussed.
