__Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav_ *Agriculture department organises special awareness program for women farmers on Mushroom farming*

Doda, August 11:

An awareness programme to popoularize Mushroom farming especially among women farmers as a part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav’ was organised by mushroom development scheme department of Agriculture and family welfare Doda under the supervision of CAO Doda Anil Gupta  and MDO Doda Haroon butt.

 

kaiser Masood I/C mushroom development scheme Bhaderwah said that department will help by imparting skills,providing training and educate how to udertake mushroom growing activity as income generating farming business and fulfill the dream of honourable PM to double the farming income by 2022.

 

The BDC Chairperson Bhaderwah Sh.Omi Chand who has chaired the program also spoke on the ocassion and appreciated the agriculture department for achieving the  100% in PMKSY and opening of new mushroom units with the capacity of almost 2500 bags in the area and also thanked to all agricultural extension assistants who carried away extension work tremendously during past tenure of all panchayats. 

 

Sarpanch from Udrana panchayat and other PRI members were also present during the awareness program.
