District level meet on local pahari dialects held at Doda

A meeting on the indigenous dialects of erstwhile Doda was convened at Doda under the chairmanship of Additional Dy Commissioner Doda, R K Bharti (KAS). The committee which was framed on 17/07/2021 by the District Megistrate Doda met today comprising of Sh Parlahd Bhagat Chief Education Officer Doda, Zubair Ahmed, District Social Welfare Officer Doda, Sala ud Din Cultural officer Doda, Sadaket Malik secretary Pahari Core Committee Chenab valley and A M Bichoo of Scope Padder. The threadbare discussion on each item was held. The Committee of officials recommended for inclusion of Chenab dialects under Pahari which included Bhaderwahi, Bhalesi, Padri, Sarazi, Pogli, Deshwali, Kishtwari, and all other dailects and formarded the recommendations to the Divisional commissioner Jammu, JKCAAL and the UT adminstration for further action. The committee also recommended the creation of saparate Sub office for District Kishtwar and Ramban and a regional office at Doda. Meanwhile, the meeting ended unanimously and recommendations  were submitted to higher ups.
