*DC Doda reviews Covid Vaccination and SEHAT registration status in the district with BMOs* _Sets target of 7000 vaccination per day, directs to establish Vaccination nakas, pace up the registration under SEHAT scheme, submit the details of low performing VLEs for strict action_

The Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of all key officers of health department here in the conference hall of DC office Doda to review the present status of Covid vaccination as well as ongoing PM-JAY SEHAT registration across the district.
During the meeting after threadbare discussion with the participants, the DC rolled out the strategy to expedite the vaccination drive across the district as per the availability of the vaccine and sets up the per day target of 7000 vaccination across the district.
Moreover the DC also directed the BMOs to set Vaccination naka in their respective jurisdictions, so that immunization can be expedited in appropriate manner and also directed them to follow SOPs while conducting the vaccination at these nakas.
With regard to PM- JAY SEHAT registration the DC asked the concerned authorities to encourage the better performing VLEs by symbolic felicitation, besides asked them to submit the details of the non performing VLEs so that strict action shall be initiated against them.
Further the DC asked all the BMOs to ensure that CAB is being fully implemented in their respective jurisdictions, besides asked them to expedite the sampling to check spread of the virus.
In addition to this the DC have also directed the BMOs to monitor the daily trend of positive cases in their areas so that if any cluster is identified on the basis of daily positive cases, that shall be immediately brought to the notice of the administration for designating the said area as micro containment zone to curb the further spread.
The DC informed the meeting that the above mentioned sectors are the major focus areas of the Hon’ble LG administration which shall be taken care on priority basis.
The meeting was attended by CMO Doda, All BMOs, District Epidemiologist/Nodal officer SEHAT, besides other officials of health department were also present.
