*DC Doda reviews performance of Banks, line departments at DLRC meeting* _Directs banks to clear pendencies under flagship schemes, besides to expedite lending in Priority sector_

Deputy Commissioner, Doda Vikas Sharma today reviewed the performance of banks and line departments for the quarter ending June 2021 here at District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, GM DIC, Lead Bank Manager, District Manager NABARD, Officers of line departments, besides bank officers/officials.
At the outset, threadbare discussion was held on achievements in priority and Non priority sectors vis a vis Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and other individual beneficiary Schemes.
The concerned Departments and bankers shared their views on account of non achievement of the desired targets in respect of some priority sector segments which includes Agriculture, MSME, Education, Housing etc.
The DC asked heads of the banks to take required steps to increase the CD ratio in the district at par with the National target. He asked the sponsoring agencies to support maximum cases for increasing the MSME credit, Education loan in the district besides asked the sponsoring agencies to ensure that the beneficiaries who are availing the benefits of the self employment schemes are actually running the assets.
Moreover the DC asked the Lead Bank Manager SBI to insert a column i.e how many units sponsored under individual benefit schemes by various departments and banks are actually running and have done extremely well, under the presentation henceforth, so that ground situation shall be assessed in real manner.
In addition to this the DC directed the line departments to project the current progress in comparison to the last year achievements and in comparison to the other districts also, so that district indicators shall be increased beyond the achievements of the other districts.
With regard to opening of new bank branch at Dali Udhyanpur, the DC directed the concerned quarter to submit the lastest development in writing to his office made by their respective heads on priority basis.
The DC also directed to expedite the progress of ADHAAR seeding on war footing basis in coordination with the other departments, besides asked to clear the pendencies especially under KCC and other individual benefit oriented schemes.
With regard to the merger of EDB Jatheli with EDB Doda, the DC asked the concerned bank representative to submit the detailed report to the chair so that appropriate measure shall be taken into account and services to the people shall not be hampered in any manner.
Further the DC directed all the Bank heads to ensure that Covid-19 SOPs are properly followed in their respective bank branches, otherwise strict action will be taken into course against the bank head for not implementing the CAB protocol in and outside their branches especially at ATMs.
