*Agriculture Department Doda distributes Maize Threshers at Doda & Assar*

Doda, September 18:

Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Doda organisedd a programme for distribution of Maize Threshers under CAPEX budget at District HQ Doda and Assar today.

 

The programme was organised under the guidance of CAO Doda Sh. Anil Gupta and overall supervision of worthy Director APD and FW Sh K  K Sharma.

 

DDC Ghat Smt. Gulshan Ara,DDC Bhagwah Smt.Jaya Rani,DDC Assar, BDC Chairman Khaleni Sh Munish  Kumar and BDC Chairman Ghat Smt.Sharifa Begum graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honours.

 

Speaking on the occasion CAO Doda Sh. Anil Gupta gave a brief regarding the aims and objectives of programme.He also assured to fullfill the different demands raised on the occasion.

 

BDC Chairman Khaleni while speaking on the occasion raised the demand for opening of seed stores in different Panchayats .DDC Bhagwah Smt. Jaya Rani appreciated the efforts of government for reaching out to the farmers.She also demanded the organisation to generate more awareness programmes in her constituency.

 

CAO Doda while replying to demands  gave the onspot directions for organizing of awareness campaign and assured to fulfill all other demands raised by the different speakers.

 

District Agriculture officer Doda  Haroon Hussain gave the welcome address and also conducted the proceeding of programme.

 

Amomg others District SMS Dr Ajay Sharma, SDAO Pranoo Kuldeep Bhasan,Ex. Sarpanch Sh.Riaz Ahmed  and Sarpanch Ganika  Sh.Ranjeet Singh also spoke on the occasion.

 

At the end Maize Threshers were handed over to the sarpanchs  present on the occasion.
