*DDC Doda flag off month long campaign of “Clean India” organised under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav from Sports Stadium Doda* _Ask all the stakeholders across the district to actively participate in the program for mass awareness about Sanitation and Cleanliness_

District Development Commissioner (DDC)Doda, Vikas Sharma today flagged off month long “Clean India” campaign from Sports stadium Doda which is being organised under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav to commemorate the 75 years of India’s Independence.

 

While speaking on the occasion the DDC gave much thurst on cleanliness and has asked all the stakeholders across the district to actively participate in the campaign so that sanitation and cleanliness shall be ensured across the district by way of Jan Bhagidari.

 

He also said that it will be a month long campaign which aims at to collect the garbage besides to dispose off the same in appropriate manner. Moreover during the campaign of Clean India series of events will be organised from Panchayat level to District level in which the govt institutions, Panchayat Raj institutions and other stakeholders will be actively involved to spread the mass awareness about the sanitation and cleanliness, he added.

 

Later on the participants at the venue collected the garbage spread in and around the stadium and disposed off the same in appropriate manner, besides the DDC alongwith all district officers and students present of various institutions and sports department faculty also participated in the drive with zeal and enthusiasm.

 

Among others present during the program are ADC Doda, ACD Doda, AC Panchayats, CMO Doda, CEO Doda, DYSSO Doda, DEPO Doda, EO MC Doda besides scores of officials of sports departments were also present during the program.
