*CEO J&K/ Com. Secretary Transport Hirdesh Kumar visits Doda, reviews developmental scenario of the district* _Directs all the executing agencies to complete the tendering of approved works by November 30_

The Chief Electoral Officer and Commissioner Secretary to Government Transport department UT of J&K Hirdesh Kumar, who is also the incharge Secretary for development of the district, today visited Doda and reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental works and implementation of various schemes in the district in the conference hall of DC office Doda.
 
During the meeting the Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma presented the detailed power point presentation of the district highlighting the various indicators/achievements of the district which includes implementation of social sector schemes, self employment schemes, implementation of CSS i.e PMGSY, PMEGP, MGNREGA,14th FC, JJM, CRF, NABARD, Languishing, besides also presented the latest position with regard to the physical progress of the mega developmental projects of the district.
 
The Commissioner/ Secretary asked all the executive agencies to expedite the tendering of all the approved works for which November 30 is set as the deadline, besides asked them to regularly monitor the ongoing works so that they shall be completed  by or before the end of the current financial year.
 
The Commissioner/ Secretary also asked the executing agencies to project their issues in detail and to submit the same to him so that he can takeup with to  the higher authorities of the different departments, besides asked them to push the completion of projects sanctioned under languishing sector.
 
While reviewing and recognising that there is an appreciable raise from 49% last year in  MGNREGA, the Commissioner/ Secretary directed the Nodal department to further improve the timely payment indicator, which is at present 76 % in the district. He directed the DPO to monitor the quality of works executed under 14FC on the ground level.
 
With regards to PMAY G&U,the Commissioner/ Secretary directed the concerned to saturate the entire target before the coming March, besides asked the Jal Shakti department to submit  the status of projects under JJM in the shape of flow chart so that they shall be monitored regularly and wherever required intervention could be made timely for their early completion. 
 
While reviewing the functioning of transport department the Commissioner/ Secretary directed the ARTO to ensure that the online services are being properly rendered to ensure transparency, besides asked them to get the DPR formulated for the construction of Advance Driving test and fitness Checking Centre and to submit the same to his office.
 
Moreover to address the issue of accidents the Commissioner/ Secretary directed the regional transport committee Doda to submit the report in detail with regard to the road safety measures, so that funds shall be allocated to the district to address the issue on priority basis.
 
Meanwhile the DC also presented before the Chair other important issues which need immediate redressal, for which the Commissioner/ Secretary assured to take-up with concerned departments for the time bound redressal.
 
The Commissioner while addressing the officers asked them to work with collective responsibility so that the district shall perform excellently, besides asked them to remain available for the general public in their respective jurisdictions for their grievance redressal. He further directed the officers and their staff to deal with public exhibiting highest sense of responsibility and good conduct.
 
The meeting was attended by DC Doda Vikas Sharma, Principal GMC Doda Dr Noor Ali,  ADC Doda Dr R K Bharti, ADC Bhaderwah Rakesh Kumar, ASP Bhaderwah Abdul Qayoom, CPO Doda Parshotam Kumar, PO ICDS Shahida Parveen, GM DIC Khalid Malik, SDMs, SE PWD, SE PMGSY, SE PDD, Se Project Wing, GM NHIDCL, ACD Doda, CMO Doda, CEO Doda, DFO Doda, DFO Bhaderwah, DFO Batote, besides other district officers of various departments were also present.
