*DDC Doda reviews physical and financial progress of works approved under District Capex, UT Capex and other schemes* _Directs REW, other executing agencies to focus on completion of tendering process, Stress to execute all alloted works in time bound manner_

Doda, November 18:

District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting of key officials of different line departments here in the conference hall of DC office Doda to review the physical and financial progress of the works approved under District and UT Capex, besides also took stock of the works approved under other different schemes.

 

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held with regard to the status of tendering of works under PRI grants, district capex, pending for tendering, physical progress of the alloted works, expenditure incurred, besides took appraisal of the works of UT Capex especially of  education sector.

 

With regard to the tendering process of works approved under PRI grants lying with RDD the DDC directed the concerned department to expedite the tendering so that the timeline set in the previous meeting shall be adhered in letter and spirit, besides asked them to submit the report to the DC office with exact figures which shall include number of works tendered, number of works alloted, works ready for allotment, being tendered, re-tendered after no response and expenditure incurred against the executed works.

 

Further the DDC asked the ACD, REW and other line departments to collectively resolve the deadlock of those works which are not yet tendered so that they shall be pooled in the process, besides asked them to solve the issue of not feasible works shown by the respective departments in coordination with the JE, BDO and secretary panchayat concerned and try to settle them into their present nomenclature so that they shall be settled down here otherwise they are to  be sent to the higher authorities for approval.

 

In addition to this the DDC directed all the departments to ensure that all the works alloted are executed and completed both physically and financially in time bound manner, besides asked them to submit the additional plan against the savings of the tendered works so that the additional plan shall also be sent to the concerned authorities for approval for optimal use of the alloted funds.

 

While reviewing the progress of works of school education under District and UT Capex, the DDC directed the department and executing agencies to expedite the tendering, being the focus area, besides asked the education department to submit the details of the progress achieved under Samagra.

 

Moreover the DDC asked the planning section to ask ADC Doda to personally visit the HS Dhara and to submit the actual report of the progress, besides directed the R&B and health department to expedite the progress against the iconic projects which have been sent to the higher authorities so that they shall be completed before the set timeline. The DDC has also passed  the directions for calling explaination from those officers who remained absent unauthorisedly in the meeting and those who have lagged behind the target in both physical and financial achievements.

 

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, SE PWD, CMO Doda, ACD Doda, ACP Doda, DIO Doda, DSWO Doda, besides other officers of various line departments.
