*DDC Chairman Doda flags off group of PRIs for training cum exposure visit.*

Doda, January 01; District Development Council Chairman Dhananter Singh flags off group of 40 Sarpanches and Panchs for training cum exposure tour for four days outside UT of J&K, from Dak Banglow Doda.

DDC Chairman was a accompanied by ACD Doda Mohammad Idrees Lone. 

It was given out that M/S Positive moves India Consulting Pvt. Ltd have been approved for trraining Cum Exposure Visit of elected Representatives to conduct Inter-state and Intra-state exposure visits in the UT of J&K. The PRIs  will be visiting FEROZPUR and AMRITSAR in this four day visit.

 

Speaking on the occasion Chairman appealed the visiting PRIs to bring in the  positive things applied by the PRIs outside J&K, for overall development of the rural infrastructure and economy. The chairman asked the PRIs to inculcate the positives that will help them understand the current practices being followed to develop and strengthen the Panchayats and gain valuable exposure to the best works and programs being run by different Panchayats in other states . Assistant commissioner Development (ACD) DODA also said that these exposure trips will help the PRI members of Jammu & Kashmir provinces to learn from other states and also help in empowering them. This will be a milestone for the growth story of Jammu and Kashmir because no state/UT can grow without Gramin Vikas. He stressed that Exposure Visits are very important for the Capacity Building of Panchayati Raj Institutions in our UT especially our district .
