Road Safety Week 2023 *MVD Doda organises free Health/ Eye checkup for drivers/conductors at Pul Doda.*

Doda, January 17; A free medical and eye checkup camp was inaugurated by ARTO DODA Sh Kuldeep Singh today during ongoing Road Safety Week 2023. The MVD Doda organised the camp in collaboration with the departments of Health, Ayush, and Transport Associations.
On the occasion, more than 100 commercial drivers/conductors were screened under which their blood pressure & eye test were taken by the team of expert doctors.
Medical team including Dr Tariq Saleem and Dr Nasir Masood, Dr Barkatullah, Noor Mohd pharmacist from General Medicines and Raju Kumar technicians, Naveen Sharma MTS Kozia Tabassum bhi (FMPHW) from department of Ophthalmology attended the camp.
An awareness programme/counselling session was also organised for drivers by the MVD. Later on, Dy. Sp traffic S. Baljeet Singh joined the programme Besides others Motor vehicle inspector S. Jasbir singh and representatives of Mini Bus union and Taxi maxi union including Akhter Hussain Chairman, Tahir Hussain Shah President, Sarfaraz Malik Cashier, and Javed Nike were also present.
