_CMO Doda reviews MR Surveillance in the district_

Doda, February 21; Acting upon the directions of worthy Director General FW, MCH & Immunization J&K Dr Saleem ur Rehman, and in order to strengthening Measles and Rubella (MR) surveillance in the District to achieve MR elimination control in India as set by the GOI by December 2023, a district level review meeting was held in the office chamber of CMO Doda Dr A H Zargar on today. 

 

During the meeting, the DIO Doda Dr Versha Sharma briefed the chair about the set SOPs and draft agenda of the meeting which was discussed in length and breadth besides strategies to be adopted in eliminating MR from the District. The CMO Dr Zargar directed all the participants and other stake holders to spearhead the efforts with regard to the desired target of MR elimination in a time bound banner and as fixed by the GOI. The meeting was attended by Epidemiologist, DMEIO Doda, DMEO NHM, JHI, VCCM and other concerned.
