_DC Doda inspects Amrit Sarovars, MRF, and other ongoing works; Reviews developmental scenario in Bhaderwah_

Bhaderwah, March 10: DC Doda Vishesh Mahajan along with ADC Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dil Mir, ACD Doda Phulail Singh and others inspected ongoing works in the Bhaderwah sub District yesterday. DC also took a review meeting with ADC Bhaderwah, ASP Bhadarwah, ACD Doda, BDOs, Ex Ens and other key officials to review the progress of developmental works, being executed in Additional District Bhaderwah.

 

DC while inspecting Amrit Sarovar Butla which is being developed on 8 Kanals of land, directed the executing agency to complete it in a given time, maintaining the quality of work so that it can dedicated to the public and made an alternate tourist destination. While inspecting Material Recovery Facility (MRF), MGNREGA works, Cluster Model Villages works, and other departmental works under Capex and other schemes, DC has asked the agencies to pace up and double the efforts and ensure the completion of all the taken up work by the end of this month which is also last month of the financial year 2022-23. 

 

During the review meeting, DC has issued instructions to focus on Swachhta and improve the infrastructure as the tourist season this year is expected to have a huge footfall. DC has also instructed to keep an eye on illegal encroachment, particularly along roadsides. He has urged the officers to come up to the expectations of the public in service delivery and make sure that no one is allowed to create nuisance in the sub district.

 

While on his visit at Bhaderwah, DC also met BDC Chairperson Bhaderwah Omi Chand, various public deputations, PRIs and local people. He listened the grievances of the people and asked the concerned authorities to resolve the genuine issues in the shortest possible time.
