One-day CME held at SDH Bhaderwah

DODA, March 18: 

 

With the aim to enhance the basic skill, knowledge and professional performance of the healthcare professionals, one day CME on PPH Management , BMW in context to the functioning of STP, functioning of Photo Therapy and Radiant Warmer was held at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah on yesterday, which was organized by Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah under the aegis of District Health Society Doda. 

 

Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Ab Hamid Zargar presided over the programme, who played a pivotal role by taking such initiative in the District with regard to organizing such programmes. 

 

The programme was attended by Consultants SDH Bhaderwah besides Medical Officers and Paramedical Staff of the pheripheral health institutions of the block. 

 

BMO Bhaderwah Dr Mohd Ashraf Kuchay in his welcome address presented an overview of the workshop and said that the main aim of conducting CME was to strengthen the basic knowledge of the health staff , so that the staff could easily deal the things and emergencies while discharging their duties. He also thanked CMO Doda for organizing the programme in their block and hope that the staff will take necessary benefit from it besides thanked all the participants for attending the programme. 

 

CMO Doda Dr Zargar while speaking on the occasion, stressed upon all the participants to actively part in such programmes organized by the department for improving their skills and basic knowledge. He said the department is organzing such programmes in every block of the District on different subjects, with the objective that every health staff get familiar with his/her job profile. 

 

CMO further said such programmes would surely enhance and equip the healthcare professionals with the latest innovations, in order to make a difference in their patients live with accurate diagnosis and better treatment. 

 

Dr Versha Kotwal (Consultant Gynecologist), Dr Sangita (Consultant Paediatrician) and and Smt Alka Rani (Sanitary Inspector) were the Guest Speakers on the occasion who imparted training to the participants on the different topics assigned to them. 

 

Dr Deep Mala conducted the proceedings of the programme. 

 

Besides the staff of SDH Bhaderwah, DPM NHM Doda Sh Jahangir Mehta, Ms Ashima Kotwal (DAM NHM), Sh Rishi Kumar Pandita, Mohd Faheem (FLC NCD) and Sh C K Shan (DMEO NHM) from CMO Office Doda were also present on the occasion.
