*National Road Safety Month: DC Harvinder Singh Doda Guides Campaign for Road Safety in Doda* _Enforcement cum Counseling for traffic violators by team MVD Doda_ 

 

 

Doda, January 16 : As part of National Road Safety Month, enforcement cum counseling for traffic violators by Team MVD Doda was conducted in the district. The program includes various activities such as road safety seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns held in schools, colleges, and public spaces.

 

Speaking on the campaign at Paryote Road Doda, ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta emphasized the importance of this National Road Safety Month. The drivers were instructed about road safety norms, and a pledge on road safety was also taken during this campaign. The focus of the program is to create a culture of responsible driving and pedestrian safety, aiming to reduce the number of road accidents and save lives. Officials hope that by raising awareness and educating the public about the potential dangers of reckless driving, they can foster a safer environment for all road users in Doda.

 

The launch of this initiative comes at a critical time when road accidents are on the rise, making it imperative to address the issue and prioritize road safety as a community-wide concern. The meeting, directed/led by DC Harvinder Singh Doda and under the guidance of ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta, emphasized engaging with vehicle operators and enforcing compliance with traffic regulations. The department aims to contribute to a significant reduction in road accidents and ensure the well-being of all road users in the region. Through collaborative efforts and sustained awareness programs, the hope is to see a significant reduction in road accidents and fatalities in Doda.
