Commissioner/Secretary Vikramjit Singh holds public darbar at Khellani block Bhalla Vows for saturation of welfare, development schemes *Appeal to Youth: Register Yourself Under PMEGP Scheme*
DODA, JANUARY 20:- Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Industries & Commerce Department, Vikramjit Singh, led a public darbar at Khellani Block Bhalla of Doda District as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, pledging to saturate welfare and development schemes.
The meticulously organized event by District Administration Doda under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh received a warm welcome, resonating traditional folk drum beats promoting tourism in the Killar area.
During the outreach program, Commissioner /Secretary Vikramjit Singh focused on addressing public grievances and emphasizing the importance of government welfare schemes. Beyond redressing immediate issues, the visit aimed to educate the community about ongoing government initiatives. Singh encouraged leveraging these schemes for socio-economic empowerment, directing officials to optimize the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra platform for central government scheme saturation.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra van, featuring a large LED screen displaying the Prime Minister’s message, stood as a key attraction. Government stalls, covering agriculture, animal husbandry, social welfare, ayush, horticulture, and state bank, showcased local products by self-help groups. The event included a plantation drive, with Commissioner Secretary and Deputy Commissioner actively participating in tree planting at Khellani.
Following the public darbar, Deputy Commissioner Doda initiated interactions with officers from different departments. Discussions with the health department centered on the immunization program, addressing public health concerns. The Deputy Commissioner urged the prompt resolution of raised issues, emphasizing the early execution of pending works.
Deputy Commissioner Doda assured the commencement of Dugli and Gajot road construction and directed the initiation of internet services in the areas. Public outreach camps to address community issues were encouraged, and plans for the construction of an army public school were shared. The Deputy Commissioner pledged to boost tourism potential at Khellani and Bani areas through a summer festival. Resolving electricity supply issues, improving road connectivity, ensuring ration supply, and addressing concerns related to religious pilgrimage paths were among the top priorities.
The Commissioner Secretary congratulated the public on the new Deputy Commissioner Doda, commending their efficiency and dedication. The purpose of the public outreach program was reiterated as a platform to resolve issues, with a commitment to elevating concerns to higher authorities. Around 1500 cases submitted under PMEGP schemes were acknowledged, with an emphasis on promoting entrepreneurship to boost the local economy. The event concluded with a pledge ceremony for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, symbolizing a collective commitment to nationald evelopment.
