*Empowering Girls: National Girl Child Day Celebrated in Doda

 

Doda, January 24 : Annually on January 24, people unite to celebrate National Girl Child Day, marking the inauguration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme on January 22, 2015. District Doda actively participated in the commemoration, organizing a grand event under the banner of National Girl Child Day.The mega event was organised at community hall Doda to celebrate the national girls child day 

Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, and SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom, graced the occasion, reinforcing the community’s commitment to the welfare of the girl child. Deputy Commissioner Doda passionately urged girl students to step forward, excel in all types of competitive exams, and showcase their talents. He emphasized the importance of girls from the district cracking competitive exams to enter the administration and serve the people.
