*Doda, January 26:* The residents of Doda marked the 75th Republic Day with immense enthusiasm and national pride at the Sports Stadium Doda. The Chief Guest, Sh. Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Chairman of District Development Council (DDC) Doda, unfurled the tricolor and honored the march past by contingents from various forces and students.

The government’s achievements in the district, including the completion of National Highway 244, Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall, and various educational institutions, were commended.
The speech also outlined initiatives for employment opportunities and entrepreneurship, showcasing the success of self-employment schemes and skill development programs. Social welfare and development schemes, agricultural growth, tourism promotion, and housing projects under PMAY (Grameen) were addressed, highlighting the overall progress and self-sufficiency in various sectors.
Additionally, the administration’s focus on digital education, skill training, and public services was emphasized. The achievements in rural infrastructure, power distribution, health, and water-related activities were detailed. The speech underscored the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and its efforts to address public grievances through online platforms and on-the-spot services.
Furthermore, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiatives for adventure tourism, “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan,” and various events promoting patriotism and awareness were mentioned.
