**Deputy Commissioner Doda Chairs Meeting on National Immunization Day**

Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Harvinder Singh, chaired a meeting of the district task force to review the planning and implementation of schemes for the Pulse Polio schedule on March 3, 2024, across the district. The meeting aimed to discuss the activities planned for National Immunization Day, emphasizing the theme “Vaccines Work For All” for India’s National Vaccination Day on 3rd March 2024

 

During the session, DC Doda directed health department officials to ensure maximum publicity and awareness for the upcoming national Pulse Polio campaign, starting on March 3rd, 2024. He assured full support from the district administration and urged SDMs to coordinate with health department officials to make all necessary arrangements for the event.

 

DC Doda emphasized starting targeted publicity from the current day and instructed the CEO Doda to prepare teaching staff and students for the upcoming Pulse Polio day celebration. The meeting revealed the presence of approximately 507 block-wise booths in the district, including 11 transit points, 20 religious places, and 35 hard-to-reach areas centers for the Pulse Polio event.

 

Attendees included ACD Doda, CEO Doda, District Nodal Officer ISM Doda, Medical Superintendent AH GMC Doda, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Doda, SDM Thathr and Gandoh, District Medical Officer Doda, District Immunization Officer Doda, BMOs, and representatives from concerned departments.
