**Preparatory Meeting for Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign in District Doda**

 

DODA MARCH 1 :  A preparatory meeting was held across various zones within the jurisdiction of all Poshan Projects in District Doda. The meeting aimed to prepare for the Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign scheduled to commence on March 3, 2024. Under the direct supervision of S. Paramjeet Singh (JKAS), District Programme Officer of Poshan Projects Doda, an extensive exercise was conducted to ensure effective implementation of the campaign.

 

During the meeting, field functionaries were sensitized about their individual roles and assigned duties to conduct awareness among the public. The objective is to ensure that no eligible child is left without receiving the polio vaccine. Supervisors of concerned zones were specifically directed to closely monitor and liaise with Medical Department functionaries to ensure the success of the Pulse Polio campaign.

 

District Programme Officer S. Paramjeet Singh emphasized the importance of thorough preparation and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the campaign. By sensitizing field functionaries and closely monitoring their activities, the campaign aims to achieve maximum coverage and eliminate any gaps in immunization efforts. The collaborative efforts between Poshan Projects Doda and the Medical Department are crucial in making the Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign a success.
