DC Harvinder Singh, IAS, Flags Off Rally to Celebrate International Women’s Day
DODA MARCH 6 : In a proactive move to commemorate International Women’s Day and advocate for women’s empowerment, District Commissioner Harvinder Singh, IAS, initiated a rally in Doda on March 6. The event aimed to celebrate the achievements of women while highlighting the importance of empowering them for societal progress.
The rally, starting from the DC office in Doda, saw enthusiastic participation from students and officials of the Social Welfare Department. As they marched through key areas like the old bus stand, Bharath road, and Tondwa, the participants raised slogans echoing the sentiment of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter).
