DDC Chairman Inaugurates One-Day Job Fair at Government Degree College Doda

 

DODA MARCH 12 :  DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal inaugurated one-day Job Fair at Government Degree College Doda. Dr. Sandeep Kotwal, Convenor of the Placement Cell at GDC Doda, along with Prof Mansa Ram, Prof Waheed, and Imtiyaz Ali, Employment Officer, were present on the occasion.

 

The mega job fair, organized by the District Employment and Counseling Centre (DE&CC) under the supervision and Guidance of District Development Commissioner Harvinder Singh IAS , aimed to provide a convenient platform to educated unemployed youth and job seekers to interact with potential employers for placement opportunities. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from job seeking youth from the district.

 

During the inauguration, the Chairman engaged with employers and job seekers, providing guidance for the best possible outcomes from such events. The job fair facilitated the participation of job seekers and job providers ,while the job seekers being shortlisted on the spot by 28 different employers, and candidates securing immediate employment opportunities.

 

Skill training institutes such as NRLM installed stalls for on-the-spot registration and awareness along with other line departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal and sheep husbandry etc . 

 

Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal highlighted that these events are testimony to the fact that the government, headed by Sh. Narendra Modi ji, is committed to providing opportunities to youth so that they can progress and prosper in life.
