District Level Awareness Programme Conducted in Marmat Under the Guidance of S. Paramjeet Singh

 

*Doda, Marmat Khalleni, August 0 8, 2024*: Following the directions from the Worthy Mission Director Poshan J&K, a District Level Awareness Programme was organized by District Programme Officer Doda, S. Paramjeet Singh (JKAS), at Khalleni Marmat in collaboration with CDPO Assar/Marmat. The event was attended by officers from various departments, including CDPO Assar/Marmat, CDPO Thathri, prominent citizens, social workers, supervisors, Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helpers, and local women from Assar and Marmat.

 

The programme featured a range of activities such as skits, poems, and speeches to spread awareness about Swachhta, PMMVY, Poshan, breastfeeding, and balanced diets. Participants also took a Swachhta pledge, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.

 

Poshan Projects in Marmat and Assar are committed to conducting similar programmes throughout the district. Tomorrow, a similar event is scheduled to be held at Bhaderwah, followed by other projects in the district in the coming days and throughout the year under I.E.C. initiatives.
